While traditionally observed in June, this year, the festivities are beginning now, offering a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in a month dedicated to acceptance and joy.
A Weekend of Rainbows:
The celebrations begin in earnest this Saturday with Pride in the Park in Saco, running from noon to 4 p.m. at the Foss Road Athletic Complex. Get ready for a spectacular day filled with a Color Run and Color Blast, a bustling Maker’s Market brimming with unique creations, delicious offerings from a variety of Food Trucks, energetic Games, a chance to belt out your favorite tunes with Karaoke, and so much more! Biddeford’s Pride Takes Center Stage:
Saturday night, prepare for a dazzling performance as Curbside Queens presents Plante Pride at City Theater, starting at 7:30 p.m. This traveling drag show promises an evening of entertainment and celebration. (Check out the City Theater website for tickets and further details in the link below.)
A Formal Start to the Month:
The celebrations continue with a formal Pride Flag-Raising Ceremony on Monday, June 2nd, at 3 p.m. at Biddeford’s City Square, next to City Hall. This event marks the official beginning of Pride Month in Biddeford.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Throughout the first week of June, Biddeford and Saco are offering a diverse range of events, including:
